NWACS Considering Transportation Changes

Northwest Allen County Schools leaders are considering changes to its transportation system…

Board members could adopt a two-tiered plan which has elementary school students and secondary students starting their school day at different times.

According to a report in the Journal-Gazette there are 105 routes and 64 buses. By adjusting times, drivers could add multiple routes to their day.

Recently Fort Wayne Community changed start times citing reduced revenue.  However, NWACS school officials say the move isn't tied to budget concerns.
