The Allen County Prosecutor’s office says no charges will be filed against a police officer who shot and killed an armed man back in February.  Officer Jerry Burkholder was responding to an robbery call at the CVS store on East State Boulevard near Hobson Road.  The suspect, Stephen Wattley II, led officers on a chase into a nearby apartment complex where he allegedly pointed a gun at officers.  It was at that point that Officer Burkholder fired, killing Wattley.  An investigation later found that Burkholder was not guilty of any wrongdoing.
