Officer Smelling of Alcohol Stripped of Power

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ An Indianapolis police officer accused by another officer of smelling of alcohol while on a shooting range has been stripped of his police powers and put on administrative duty while an investigation is conducted.
 
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the officer took a breath test Monday and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.01. The incident occurred Monday during a training session at the department's shooting range.


The name of the officer has not been released.
