FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officials say they're trying to find a way to make Fort Wayne's fire department more diverse. This coming after comments made by Fort Wayne Fire Chief Eric Lahey earlier this week.  Lahey hopes that one day, the department will better reflect the city it serves. The issue has some questioning why the fire department needs to be made diverse. Lahey went on to say that a committee study will likely be the next step.
