WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Drivers encountered lane restrictions on U.S. 30 for about two hours Wednesday morning due a major crash that happened around 5:30.

Witnesses say a woman driving a red pickup truck was heading westbound on U.S. 30, and continued through the W. County Line Rd. intersection as the light was turning red. The vehicle then struck a larger crew-cab truck, causing the larger vehicle to roll.

The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man driving the crew-cab truck was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither vehicle was carrying any passengers.
