One dead in Steuben County crash

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead after a crash between a compact car and a semi in Steuben County last night.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened a few minutes before 7pm on State Road 120 near the intersection of County Road 700 North, a few miles east of Orland.

A Fiat 500 reportedly crossed the center line and sideswiped the semi, which caused the car to flip over and eject its driver, 48-year-old Susan Jakovljevic of Fremont, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
