FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A female victim is dead after a one-car crash on East Washington Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.

The Fort Wayne Police Department tells WOWO News the crash happened on East Washington Boulevard near White Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. When police arrived, they found a car resting on its top in a parking lot. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

It appears the vehicle had been traveling east on Washington Boulevard when it lost control coming out of a curve, jumped the south curb and flipped several times. The driver was ejected in the process.

Her name has not yet been released.
