One of Two Men Who Died in I-69 Wreck

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One of the two men that died in the massive wreck on I-69 Wednesday has been identified.

The Allen County Coroner's Office says 27 year old Jacob Fish of Fort Wayne was heading southbound on I-69. He was hit by a car that crossed over from the northbound lanes through a grassy median into the southbound lanes on I-69 south of the GM plant. Fish was wearing his seatbelt, but still died of blunt force trauma.

The other driver has not yet been positively identified, but the coroner's office says he's an Asian male. The coroner is still trying to determine if he had a medical issue before the accident or if he died as a result of his injuries. They are ruling his death as a result of blunt force trauma in the meantime.
