FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just as area residents begin digging out from a winter storm that dropped seven inches of snow in Warsaw and five inches in Fort Wayne, meteorologists are calling for another round of wintry precipitation later this week.

The National Weather Service of northern Indiana is predicting a high of 9 degrees for Monday, followed by a mixture of freezing rain and snow Tuesday, a chance of snow Thursday night, lows in the single digits on Friday, and another chance for snow on Saturday.

This weekend’s wintry blast led to travel advisories, a crash involving an Ohio state trooper in Van Wert, and long days for countless road crews.
