Overnight House Fires

Two house fires kept Fort Wayne firemen busy during the overnight hours. The first one happened on Princenton just after 10. When crews got there, they found smoke coming from the basement. No one was home and they were able to get the blaze under control in short order. The second fire was on Princenton just after midnight. The fire was on the back half of the house when they got there. No one was inside, and again, they were able to get it under control rather quickly. They did rescue a couple of dogs from the house. As to the cause of either, that part they’re still working on.
