The show “America’s Most Wanted” and its host John Walsh were in the Summit City yesterday to tape a segment about the 1988 cold case of the rape and murder of 8-year-old April Tinsley. Tinsley went missing on good Friday in ’88 and was found a few days later, after she was raped and killed, laying in a ditch in Dekalb County. They’re hoping new information being released by police will net them some new tips. You can see the segment this Friday night
