INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The mayor of Valparaiso has been appointed to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Governor Mike Pence’s office announced the appointment of Mayor Jon Costas to the 14-member commission. Costas has been Valparaiso’s mayor since 2004.
