FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another project for downtown Fort Wayne’s riverfront development has been given the green light.

The Fort Wayne Plan Commission approved a $61-million apartment and retail development by Riverview FW LLC Monday.

The development group is a spinoff of Continental Property Group, according to the Journal Gazette, which notes the project will include 228 apartments in a five-story complex that will include a 13,000-square-foot deck, 20,000-square-feet of retail space, and a 1,000-space parking garage.

Plans are to build it on Superior Street between Calhoun and Harrison Streets.
