Plans for new 911 Center Approved

Plans have been approved for Allen County and Fort Wayne’s 911 call center to move the basement of the Rousseau Center to the sixth floor.  The city and county will replace the current public safety communications system at a cost of about $17 million and almost double the facility’s floor space in the process.  Work should begin early next year, with operations in the new center beginning next fall.
