ALLEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): Authorities have identified the body of a man that was found in a parking lot just west of the intersection of Goshen and West Coliseum. He is identified as 57-year-old Richard Hamilton.
As of right now, police believe that he was hit by a vehicle Monday night, as he was walking across the parking lot of Ray’s Truck Wash. He was later found by a truck driver who pulled into the lot to make a turn.
Hamilton is the 13th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
In the meantime, the incident is still under investigation as police are on the hunt for the person who committed the hit and run.
