After multiple thefts from vehicles throughout the area, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department is asking residents to take precautions to make sure that the break-ins don’t continue. It may sound obvious, but they warn to keep your doors locked, as most of the reported thefts are from unlocked vehicles. Don’t leave your garage door opener in your vehicle, turn your porch light on at night, and take valuables like iPods, wallets, and GPS systems out of your car.
