Police: Teen dies after accidental shooting by brother

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP): Authorities say an Indiana teenager was killed in a shooting and a preliminary investigation shows his brother fired the shots. Police believe the shooting was accidental.

The slain teen, identified as Reynaldo Pizana, was found unresponsive Tuesday afternoon in Anderson. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The Madison County coroner says Pizana died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

Anderson police say an initial investigation shows his 16-year-old brother fired the shots inside the home. Investigators are trying to determine where the gun came from and how the teen was able to obtain it.
