Power outage in northeast Fort Wayne, more than 1,000 without power

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Indiana Michigan Power has issued outage information for northeast Fort Wayne.

As shown on the map, the power outage heads north from Stellhorn Road to I-469.

Traffic lights are reported to be out at the Maplecrest and Rothman intersection and the Maplecrest and St. Joe Center intersection.

Indiana Michigan Power reports that more than 1,000 customers are currently without power.

The outage is expected to last for several hours. Stay tuned for updates.


8 a.m.

Traffic lights along Maplecrest are back on and working properly.

Power is still out in some areas in northeast Fort Wayne.


8:07 a.m.

All power has been restored.
