Prairie Farms Makes Large Milk Donation to Community Harvest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Milk is the most valued item at the Community Harvest Food Bank and one milk producer is driving home that point. 

Prairie Farms donated 500 gallons of 2% milk to the Community Harvest Food Bank this past week. 

It's part of their nationwide “Great American Milk Drive”, where people are encouraged to donate milk to hungry families. Prairie Farms will donate 11,000 gallons of milk to 22 regional food banks around the country as part of the program.
