FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne landmark and attraction celebrated its first birthday – of sorts – yesterday.

Officials celebrated the first anniversary of Promenade Park’s opening date Sunday with a series of socially-distant activities.

Chuck Reddinger of the Fort Wayne Parks Department tells our Partners in News at ABC 21 activities included a floating fire pit, canoe and kayak games, and floating yoga.

The park’s grand opening drew “huge” crowds on August 9, 2019.
