FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Purdue Fort Wayne announced Thursday that they have extended their temporary indoor mask requirement for another two weeks.
Officials say this is due to no discernable improvement in COVID-19 numbers across the area. The extension will now have a re-evaluation on Friday, Sept. 3. The mask requirement was first enacted on Aug. 9.
The mask requirement calls for all students, staff, faculty and visitors to wear face masks indoors while on campus. That rule also applies to any outside groups using campus buildings.

The maskerade people all say follow the science. yet there is not a single real study that says masks prevent Covid. Where is the science???
Here’s a recent study: https://www.uab.edu/news/health/item/12230-uab-study-among-others-shows-masks-are-effective-in-preventing-spread-of-covid-19
For every study you find that says masks work you can find another that says they don’t.
Science is useless these days because the outcomes are based on what the science WANTS to find. And telling people to ‘trust science’ has become the mantra of a new religion that you can never question.
I’m sure when the two weeks are up it will be extended for two more, then two more, then two more…then forever.
This is a better review of the evidence, not exhaustive and not exclusively about COVID, but at least more honest.
