Recently Announced Tuition Increases For Ivy Tech Can Only Cover A Portion Of Its Financial Woes

Despite tuition increases for Ivy Tech, it will only generate $10 million in new income as it works to close a $68 million dollar gap. According to the Journal-Gazette, the statewide community college is now considering closing a number of sites around the state including the public safety academy on South Lafayette and Fort Wayne’s south campus. Ivy Tech has said the Coliseum Boulevard and St. Joe Road campuses are not included in the closings.
