Rep. Morris thanks INDOT for their hard work…

STATEHOUSE, Ind. (WOWO): State Representative Bob Morris released a statement (R-Fort Wayne) commending the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) for the hard work and dedication they have displayed during this harsh winter.

This is one of the hardest winters Indiana has seen in decades,” said Rep. Morris. “INDOT has consistently helped the people of Indiana be safe on the roads, and this winter is not an exception. I want to thank them for what a great job they are doing this year in the face of tough circumstances.”

This winter alone, INDOT trucks have covered 4.3 million miles and distributed 265,000 tons of granular salt as of Jan. 18 in an effort to keep roads safe and clean.

“Keeping our roads clean is essential to keeping our State’s economy moving forward,” said Rep. Morris. “These men and women have been working around the clock to ensure that Hoosiers can move around our State safely.”
