An apartment fire forced 50 people to evacuate Wednesday morning.  The call came in just before 5:30 AM from the River View Terrace Apartments on Griswold Drive between Elizabeth and Lawton.  Crews found heavy smoke coming from 2nd and 3rd floors when they got there.  The fire was found the basement area and put out.  Everyone was able to get out okay.  Four residents were taken to the hospital by EMS for minor smoke inhalation.
