FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County’s Prosecutor has clarified any doubt about the Summit City containing a witness protection program.

Karen Richards told WOWO’s Charly Butcher Thursday morning that there has indeed been a protection program in Fort Wayne for the last 30 years.

Richards says that by knowing something that is helpful in a homicide investigation, people need to come forward and report it to the police, which will in turn, make the community a safer place to live in.
