Semi Fire Inside Bluffton Road Facility

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fire crews were called to Bluffton Rd near Airport Expressway just before 1:00 Thursday morning to a tractor/trailer repair facility with an active water flow coming from a pipe. The first unit to arrive found smoke coming from the building, and when they got into the structure, crews found heavy smoke. One of the tractor/trailers was found to be on fire inside the building. Crews put out the blaze and cleared the smoke from the building, which, according to officials, took a considerable amount of time. The fire was under control in just under an hour. The building suffered minor fire and water damage and major smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
