Seven more Hoosiers die from COVID-19

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The Indiana State Department of Health says seven more Hoosiers have died from COVID-19 in the latest numbers released Monday.

The deaths, which occurred between April 15 and 19, bring the state’s death toll to 569. Another 505 positive cases were reported as well, pushing the total positive cases to 11,686.

A total of 64,639 Hoosiers have been tested. You can view the state’s full dashboard here.

In Allen County, four residents died in Monday’s update, pushing the death toll to 27. Another 13 people tested positive, pushing the total to 327 cases.

The date provided by the state may not match Allen County’s numbers due to a delay in private lab testing.
