FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Seven people are safe after an early morning house fire. Fort Wayne fire crews were called to the home at 2504 River Park Drive, near Shoaff Park, at 7:33am Saturday. Once on the scene, they found flames coming from the first floor of the two story home. Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control within 12 minutes.

Two adults and five kids inside the home, were able to make it out safely, and no injuries were reported, but the house did suffer some moderate fire, smoke and water damage.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
