Shell Building Could Be Built in SW Fort Wayne for Future Business

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne is building a new building for a potential new tenant in southwest Fort Wayne. But that tenant will be determined at another date.

The Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission is considering a proposal to allow the Hagerman Group to build a shell building at Ardmore Avenue and Airport Expressway.

The building would be flexible space that would be finished when a tenant or owner is found.

The reason the building is being built is to entice a business to move to Fort Wayne and have a quick turnaround when moving to the city.

A decision will be made on Monday.
