FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man was seriously injured in a shooting early this morning in Fort Wayne.

Police were called to a home on East Sherwood Terrace, a few blocks east of Lafayette Park, at about 4:30am.

Our Partners in News at ABC 21 report that the caller told police her brother had been shot in the leg and passed out. He was taken to an area hospital and last listed in serious condition. Early reports indicate the shooting may have been accidental, and done by another man.

No further details have been released.
