Six Fort Wayne teens arrested, accused of counterfeiting money

PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WOWO): Six people from Fort Wayne were arrested after police found counterfeit money during a traffic stop.

At about 1:20 a.m. Sunday, Plymouth Police Department stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 in Plymouth, according to the South Bend Tribune.

Officers found $100 counterfeit bills, uncut bills and a printer during the stop.

Raynesha Causey, 18, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating with controlled substance and counterfeiting.

Tristan Lacy and Drake Wells, both 18 years old, were arrested on preliminary charges of counterfeiting.

Terrell Smith, 18, was arrested on preliminary charges of counterfeiting and false informing.
Jalaysha Mccaleb, 19, was arrested on preliminary charges of assisting a criminal and false informing.

The sixth person in the vehicle was 17 years old and wasn’t identified. The teen was placed in a detention center.
