A Fort Wayne Police officer and suspect still in hospital

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A police officer and a suspect are still in the hospital after a domestic disturbance Saturday morning.

Three Fort Wayne Police Department officers were sent to the hospital for being exposed to smoke inhalation. One is still in the hospital and is listed in serious condiditon, according to the News-Sentinel.

Police were called to a home on St. Mary’s Avenue at about 1:45 a.m. During the dispute the suspect allegedly stabbed two victims.

Afterwards the man allegedly barricaded himself inside a second-floor room and set it on fire.
The suspect is still in the hospital for smoke inhalation and a self-inflicted cut to his neck.
