Smith wins Republican primary, will face Henry in November election

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The ticket is set for the Fort Wayne Mayoral election this fall.

Republican businessman Tim Smith defeated City Council President Dr. John Crawford and David Roach in Tuesday’s Primary Election, capturing 56% of the vote.

Henry, the Democratic incumbent, defeated challengers Gina Burgess and Tommy Schrader – who was arrested Tuesday night for vandalism – with 86% of the vote.
