Stabbing Suspect Arrested

A Fort Wayne man has been arrested after he was accused of stabbing a resident at the South Bridge Apartments.  The Journal Gazette says the arrest of 33-year-old Jesus Garza comes in connection with an incident on Monday where Garza reportedly banged on the door of a woman whom he had once dated.  When the woman went outside to see what Garza wanted, he allegedly forced his way inside, chased another man who was in the apartment into a bedroom and began stabbing him. The woman was also cut on her finger as she tried to help the victim.  Garza faces charges including aggravated battery, with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness.
