State Police Probe Shelbyville Officer’s death

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana State Police are investigating the death of an off-duty Shelbyville police officer whose body was found by officers responding to a report of a person shot.
State Police say Officer David W. Hudnall was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday afternoon at a home in Shelbyville, about 20 miles southeast of Indianapolis. Police said in a statement that they do not believe foul play was a factor in the death of the 33-year-old Hudnall.
The police statement did not provide additional information on Hudnall's death and State Police did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment on the circumstances of his death.
Hudnall was a three-year veteran of the Shelbyville Police Department, joining the force in 2011.
State Police say their investigation into Hudnall's death is ongoing.
