State Warns High Ozone Expected Tuesday in NW Ind.

HAMMOND, Ind. (AP): The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has issued an air quality action day for northwestern Indiana. The agency warns that children, the elderly and people with heart or lung conditions should reduce or avoid exertion and heavy work outdoors because Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties are expected to have high ozone levels on Tuesday.
