State Won’t Push for Constitutional Convention

MUNSTER, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana lawmakers will not lead a push for a new U.S. constitutional convention aimed at limiting the powers of the federal government. The Republican-controlled House failed to act before a deadline last week on a resolution seeking a state-called constitutional convention. House Speaker Brian Bosma says state lawmakers may not have been prepared to be the first in the country to call for such a convention.
