INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Thousands of firefighters from around the world are gathering in Indianapolis to learn the latest safety techniques and new ways to battle blazes. The Firefighters Instructors Conference begins today and will features training in extrications, rescues and other scenarios. The event also will include the 6th Annual Courage and Valor Run dedicated to two Indianapolis medics killed in a crash in February.
