LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWO) — Indiana authorities have issued a Statewide Silver Alert for a missing 9-year-old boy from Lafayette who may be in extreme danger and could require medical assistance.

The Lafayette Police Department is searching for Ricky Reveles, described as a Black male who is 3 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 55 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Ricky was last seen Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m. in Lafayette, about 67 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

At the time of his disappearance, Ricky was wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white shoes. Authorities said he was also carrying an orange backpack.

Investigators believe Ricky may be in extreme danger and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.
