ORLAND, Ind. (WOWO): A Steuben County industrial park is being recognized by the state of Indiana.

Orland Industrial Park has been certified by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, according to Inside Indiana Business. It’s earned the Indiana Site Certified Silver designation, which means the site is ready for economic development.

OCRA says the designation helps show a community’s involvement in economic growth, mitigating risks for businesses relocating to Indiana, and it can be used as a marketing tool. You can read more about the program here.

23 acres of space is available at the site, and a $500,000 road project makes it easier for traffic to get through the park.
