Steuben County Officials Say People Still Getting IRS Scams

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Steuben County officials say there's still IRS scam callers going around.

Earlier this month, the Allen County Sheriff's Department warned people of scammers representing themselves as police or the IRS and asking for money to get out of trouble. Now, the Steuben County Sheriff's Office says they've gotten calls from people about the IRS scam.

Officials say they won't call you and request that you pay for bond or bail electronically to stop your arrest.

If you feel you're being scammed, ask for contact information and then call police.
