FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man caught stealing cologne from the Meijer on Lima Road is now in the Allen County lockup.

On Thursday, April 3rd police got a call about a man taking cologne. They were told that the suspect was a heavyset man, black, wearing a black hoodie and camouflage coat with blue jeans.

An officer spotted a man matching the description at the bus stop on the south side of the Meijer. He also had a white plastic bag. The officer approached him and took him into custody. He was then taken back to the Meijer and identified as the man stealing cologne.

The suspect then identified himself as Patrick Mojet. There were several un-opened cologne bottles in the plastic bag that he was carrying. Three other bottles of cologne were found in Mojet’s pockets.  

Upon further investigation, police learned that Mojet had an active warrant.  He was taken to the Allen County Jail.
