FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne teen who was allegedly involved in a fatal shooting last year will have to wait on his punishment.

That’s because 16-year-old Vicxon Gray is being required to testify against the two other defendants, according to 21Alive.

Gray’s sentencing was supposed to be Friday, but a plea deal means he’ll have to testify first against Shakidi and Kamari Underwood. The three are accused of murdering 30-year-old Melvin Palmer last July. His body was found near the Winter and Rudisill intersection.

In exchange for his testimony in the October trial of the Underwood brothers, Gray’s murder and robbery charges will be dropped.
