FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A national nonprofit handed out its three of its biggest honors of the year today, and they all went to Fort Wayne-area recipients.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of America chose Laura Frederick as “Big Sister of the Year,” Northeast Indiana board member Tim Wagner as recipient of the Clifford P. Norman Service Award recipient, and Fort Wayne-based Do it Best Corp. as winner of the President’s Award.

The awards were handed out at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana’s offices on West Rudisill in Fort Wayne this morning.

Officials say it’s rare for three national awards to all be given to representatives from one region at the same time.
