FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman died and a man is in serious condition after an ATV crash in Fort Wayne.

Emergency personnel responded to the 7600 block of Washington Center Road at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to our news partners 21Alive.

An elderly couple went on the ATV to spray weeds. The ATV came too close to a ditch, tipped and pinned the woman, DNR officers said.  A farmer found the couple on Tuesday morning.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was hospitalized in serious condition.

It’s not clear when the crash happened.
