Tornado, Flash Flood Watches in Effect through Evening

SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect for all of northeast Indiana, as well as parts of Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan until 9 p.m.

The watch covers Allen, Adams, Blackford, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley Counties. In Ohio, the watch covers, Defiance, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Williams Counties.  A watch means conditions favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area 


A flash flood warning remains until Midnight. for Allen, Adams, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley Counties. The watch is in effect for Defiance, Paulding, Van Wert and Williams Counties.
