Travel Restriction for Oversize Loads Lifted

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana State Police have lifted the Travel Restriction for Oversize Loads. The restriction was in place because of poor road conditions, the result of the recent storm. They say conditions have significantly improved over the last 24 hours. The general provision, as listed on the Department of Revenue website, applies at all times: “Permitted oversized vehicles are not allowed to operate during hazardous weather, road, or traffic conditions, and/or when visibility is less than 500 feet. Permitted vehicles may not operate when wind velocity exceeds 25 miles per hour.”
