Two Charged in Colerick Street Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Two men are charged in connection with a drive-by shooting and chase last week. 

In custody are 22-year-old Marcus Timmons and 24-year-old Brandon Carter for their role in a Colerick Street shooting August 20. The shooting targeted a man and a seven-month-old boy. 

According to the News-Sentinel, Timmons has been charged with resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Carter is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious felon. 

The duo led police on a car chase in southeast Fort Wayne before a crash near Schele and Holly Avenues.
