Two search warrants in one Fort Wayne home, fifteen people arrested

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Two separate search warrants were conducted in the same house, but within two separate apartments.

The house, located on Michigan Avenue, had fifteen people inside the shared porch area, and within the two apartments.

The Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team and the detectives of the Vice and Narcotics Division arrested all fifteen people.

Four people were arrested and charged with felony charges, and 11 were charged with a misdemeanor of Visiting a Common Nuisance.

During the search warrant, detectives located a stolen .40 caliber handgun, crack cocaine and $600. The cocaine was packaged in small plastic bags for individual sale.

Those arrested and charged with felonies include:

  • Edward E. McQuire Jr. – Maintaining a Common Nuisance
  • Thomas B. Patton – Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug
  • Jennifer A. Cavinder – Maintaining a Common Nuisance
  • Stephania Twilley – Maintaining a Common Nuisance
