UPDATE: 19 Injured in MegaBus

EDINBURGH, Ind. (AP) – Indiana State Police say 19 people sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a Megabus struck the back of a stopped semi-truck on Interstate 65.

Trooper John Perrine says the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Monday in Johnson County near Edinburgh, about 35 miles south of Indianapolis.

Perrine says the semi-truck was stopped because of construction and the Megabus didn't stop quickly enough. The Megabus struck the back of the semi-truck, pushing the truck into two passenger vehicles.

Perrine says all of the injured were on the bus. They were taken to hospitals in Johnson, Marion and Shelby counties. He says there were no obvious serious injuries.

There were 63 passengers on the bus. This is the fourth Indiana crash involving a Megabus since October.
